Spring 2026
It feels more like summer than spring. (Understatement of the year?) This week, I’m riding out the heatwave by taking Baby for pram-nap walks around the city when the morning is still fresh.
The odd copy line catches my eye. I like the statement on the window of Nobody’s Child – ‘going somewhere’. Behind the glass, the message is explained by clothes that pre-baby me could have imagined herself wearing on sun-heated streets in Europe as well as in an air-conditioned London office. If the brief was to evoke dreams of both holidays and work successes, the copywriter nailed it.
I’ll be back writing retail copy in a few months. But for now I’m happy window shopping.
